Here are some of the new sewing projects we are working on. Click on the picture to see an enlarged view of that project.

Shirleen McCurry made this wonderful quilt using machine appliqué to apply each butterfly to a plain square. She then added four square blocks between each butterfly. She said it was very easy to do.

Jody Tokarsky used Clover quick bias tape to make this wonderful wall hanging to look like a stained glass window. We will periodically offer this as a class, although not necessarily an Irish, but the technique will be taught. Watch your newsletters.

September 11, 2001 affected not only Americans, but the whole world wept for those lost in New York, Pennsylvania and the Pentagon. Mandy Ramaswami embroidered and quilted this wall hanging in memory of all who were lost that day.

Val Barrios used a new EmbroideryScape to create this fun T-shirt. EmbroiderScapes include an iron on transfer and several designs to enhance the design.

Once again Phyllis Hamilton created an extraordinary jacket using elastic bobbin thread to gather the fabric before she cut the pattern out to sew it. She swears it is not magic! Watch the newsletter for this class offering.

In November, Faye Graham was in all three of our stores to demonstrate the wonders of "Origins". She gave a wonderful "Christmas Stocking" trunk show at our Villages store. We always look forward to having her here to either demo, teach, or show us her wares.
